My Favourites - May 2015 Edition

I know I start off every months favourites post of the same but seriously this time, we're halfway through the year! I've been able to try out and play around with some amazing products this month so picking out my favourites took a little time nut I think I have managed to whittle the list down to just 5...

My Free Your Mind Post

We're always running around doing something aren't we? There's always something we need to do whether it be housework, homework or god forbid even work work. So sometimes it is really nice to just switch off, kick back, unwind and relax. Thank's to Birchbox I've found a new favourite way to 'Free My Mind'.

My Fitness Diary - May 2015 Edition

So last month I perhaps a little prematurely decided that Spring has sprung and summer was on its way. Wrong. I am sure that on the whole this month I have spent more time underneath my umberella (ella, ella), dodging puddles and finding shelter than last month! But hey, there's been a bit of sun and that's what has been inspiring me, the sun!

My Boho Bank Holiday Look

I've never really got on with the Boho-chic trends that really came to the forefront of fashion thanks to Sienna Miller back in the mid-naughties. I think I'm just the wrong shape to pull it off in all honest and don't get me wrong I think that Sienna and the likes of Zooey Deschanel totally rock their looks, it's just a style I have never really got on with.

My SOS Beauty Items

This is almost like one of those desert island posts, you know the ones. But this isn't the 5 items I would take with me if I was to be stranded indefinitely on some paradise isle, far from it. Instead these are the 5 items I reach for day-to-day to keep myself looking human.

My Product Tests - St Moriz Fast Tan

Those who know me will know that I'm naturally quite a pasty looking girl. In fact last week I was told I looked a bit 'peaky' thanks to my lack of a tan and so with a wedding to attend last week I fancied warming my skin tone up a little.

My Introduction to Bodyweight Workouts

It's easy to think that you need to use loads of equipment and weights to get that body you have always dreamed of but that really isn't the case (although of course it helps) and that is why Bodyweight workouts can be done in the gym, the home or better still in the great outdoors.

My Spring Wedding Look

So on Friday I finally got to wear out my gorgeous Blonde & Wise Bright Red Trench Dress that Paul bought me for Christmas last year, I just haven't been anywhere since then that seemed worthy of the nicest item of clothing I have ever owned and I thought that I would take you through my Springtime wedding look...

My 'Spring Into Fitness' Post

May in the US is National Physical Fitness & Sport month and a few weeks ago I was asked by the lovely people at Bankers Healthcare Group to take part in a graphic they were producing to spread the word about the importance of fitness and I thought I would share my answers with you all too.

My Travels ... Spofforth Castle

Yesterday, on the way back from a night away in Knaresborough for a wedding (more on that later this week) we decided to stop off at a local English Heritage site, for a bit of fresh air to clear our heads a little. That local site was Spofforth Castle in North Yorkshire...

My Product Tests - Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

One product that see & hear being referred to time and time again in the Blogosphere is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Maybe it's because it is such a cult favourite that I've shied away from trying it in case it didn't live up to the hype? But then last month those lovely people at Birchbox decided to slip it into their monthly box & then something happened...

So for those of you who don't know, this month is National Walking month and as the sun is shinning a little more frequently it's time to tear yourself away from Friends repeats, get up off the sofa and move your butt!

My New Kicks & Skins

Hallelujah I hear you all cry! I know I have been going on about needing new trainers for months but finally I have taken the plunge and invested in some new footwear. Despite quite possibly spending more time in my gym kit than most items in my wardrobe I always feel a little loathed to splurge.

My Get Happy Post

This weekend has been one of those weekends where I have had nothing to do, no where to go and nobody to visit. I've been able to be really lazy and relax. Which gave me chance to do just a few of the things that really do make me happy...

My Product Tests - The Body Shop Green Tea Collection

I'm fairly certain that if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will be fully aware of my love of Green Tea. I will admit it is an acquired taste and it definitely isn't for everyone, personally I started drinking it on holiday in the Seychelles a few years ago and I've enjoyed it ever since.

My Version of That Nude Lip

You know which lip I'm on about. Yes the Kylie Jenner one. I honestly couldn't care less if she has had work done or not it's her choice and I have had collagen in my top lip before and would do again. But as supplies of MAC Whirl/ Soar/ Spice seem to be a little hard to come by at the moment I thought I would see what I could come up with on my own.

My Matcha May

They always say that great things come in small packages (except Superman's Kryptonite, that's bad) and this little package from the Tea Pigs was certainly no different. This month is Match May and here's a little introduction to the world of the super hero tea that is Matcha!

My Favourites - April 15 Edition

April has been one of those months where it feels that very little has wowed me or got me really excited about it. But maybe that's because I'm feeling a little under the weather this week. Either way I've managed to pick out 5 things that have impressed me this month.
