My Free Your Mind Post

We're always running around doing something aren't we? There's always something we need to do whether it be housework, homework or god forbid even work work. So sometimes it is really nice to just switch off, kick back, unwind and relax. Thank's to Birchbox I've found a new favourite way to 'Free My Mind'.

Who would have thought that colouring in as a thirty-something could be just as much fun as when I used to sit in my Grandma's living room, watching Heartbeat and eating Wispa's on a Friday night when I was about 5 or 6!

But as grown-ups if there is one thing we don't do enough of it is taking time out. Taking time out to go into a world of your own where deadlines no longer exist, where no one is placing demands on your time and there are no dramas simmering in the background. Regressing into your childhood by taking part in old favourites such as colouring in helps you to take this well needed time out of reality, relax and de-stress. It isn't just colouring in though, going down to the park and sitting on the swings, grabbing your roller blades or bike and feeling the wind in your hair - there's no right or wrong way to de-clutter your mind, you just need to find what works for you.

After this, I really want a colouring in book again, it was so much fun.

Which brings me onto my shameless plug.

Birchbox subscribers were asked to take their box and put their own stamp and style on it this month and here is mine. To vote for it simply click here, click like and share, it's that simple! I'd really appreciate it!

What are your favourite ways to take time out? Let me know below and I'll catch you again soon, until then though x
