My Version of That Nude Lip

You know which lip I'm on about. Yes the Kylie Jenner one. I honestly couldn't care less if she has had work done or not it's her choice and I have had collagen in my top lip before and would do again. But as supplies of MAC Whirl/ Soar/ Spice seem to be a little hard to come by at the moment I thought I would see what I could come up with on my own.

Rimmel's Lasting Finish Liner in Spice is a burnt brown shade that offers a little warmth to the coolest looking of lips and is quite simply one of those your lips but better shades. Aside from the perfect colour, I really like the consistency of the pencil as it is really easy and comfortable apply and very workable on the lips too. You can, and I do, wear this all over the lips on its own for a matte, I'm not even really trying look!

In addition to MAC Whirl, Kylie also apparently opts for their Honeylove Matte Lipstick to finish off her look.

Whilst picking up the Spice Lip Liner I spotted the Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in shade 03. On it's own I haven't been wowed by this I must admit as it just doesn't do anything for my lips - it's one of those "I'm not beige, but I'm not pink either" nude shades. But when teamed with Spice it just looks awesome, really sophisticated and polished. Again I really like the ease of use of this product as it can be used straight from the bullet with no issues.

Now I know this is one of those posts that is completely redundant without a supporting, here's one I made earlier, photo's. So click here to see me rocking this look to work!

Have you tried the KJ lip look? Let me know below and I'll catch you again soon, until then though x
