My Recipes - Overnight Oats

If there is one meal I struggle to get excited about it's breakfast! I don't know why but it is just one meal that I have never really got with, but, it is the most important meal of the day and so lately I have been trying out some tasty treats that are also good for you...

My Fitness Diary - September 2015 Edition

I can't quite believe that it is now starting to get dark whilst I sweat it out in the gym and soon it will be dark as I get home on an evening. What a difference a few weeks makes! But as another month comes to an end it's time to delve into this month's fitness diary...

Getting Out & About

It can be all too easy to act all Hedgehog like in the cold, Autumn/ Winter months and hibernate under a blanket after enjoying summer outdoors. But for me there is nothing better than getting out and enjoying the changing landscapes...

Respect

There have been a number of instances recently that have got me thinking about how much respect we actually give to one another and in some case how little. It's time we remembered a few home truths and learned how to respect one another...

My Capsule Vegas Wardrobe

This year I finally feel as though I have got packing light(er) down to a fine art. You don't need a million different outfits just a few staples that can take you through from day-to-night, yet always look a million dollars...

Finding Your Fitness Mojo

When I got back from holiday this year I really struggled to get back into gym life. I had no purpose or direction to head in, I struggled to get back into eating healthily & over indulged at every available opportunity. But as much as I'd like to, I can't spend the Winter months hibernating...

My Holiday Fashion Post

I love summer fashion, believe it or not there is nothing that I love more than putting on a nice, pretty dress, a pair of nice shoes and going out for a meal and a few drinks feeling like a million dollars. Here are a just a few of the dresses that I took away with me this year...

That Magical Moment in the Sun

My September

Thirty days has September... Where did September spring up from? Two thirds of the year have now flown by and whilst this month I will be gearing up for Harmony Blaze's 1st Birthday in October there are a few other things that I am looking forward to this month...

Spectacular Sunsets - As the nights draw in and Winter nears, the sun will be setting as I leave the gym on an evening and I will get to see sights like the one above. There is something soothing about seeing the sun setting at the end of the day, it's like it takes all of the days troubles with it as it disappears. Another thing that I really enjoy about the end of Summer is getting outdoors and enjoying the changing landscapes, the colours and the beauty of the countryside.

GBBO - Or Great British Bake Off for those not in the know. From soggy bottoms to split tops, you can't beat the drama of the bake off tent. One thing that always happens off of the back of watching baking, is baking. I've already experimented with an Chocolate Orange Marble cake this month and trying to think of ideas for my next bake.

Start of Strictly - I love Strictly. I love the elegance of the dances, the controversy of the judges and sexiness of the dancers. Total body envy. So although I'll be spending most of my Saturday & Sunday nights in front of the TV, I will be working hard in the gym to get my ballroom body!

New Challenges - So I've set myself a few new challenges in the gym to try and get my motivation back. Next year I will be going to Centre Parcs not once but twice, and in the past I have failed miserable at playing any form of racket sports so I am going to attempt to be able to at least be able to hit the ball this time round! Also, I have always struggled with my upper body strength and so I am going to work on being able to do a pull up. Watch this space!

Home Comforts - I am one of those people who loves Summery Summers and epically Wintery Winters. September for me makes me think of darker nights, putting the heating back on and snuggling up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a good film. So this month I am looking forward to all of those things.

I'd love to hear what you're looking forward to this month, let me know what you've been buying below and I'll catch you again soon, until then though x

My Mini Leeds Haul - August 2015 Edition

Last week I arranged to meet up with my mum to take advantage of a little 'Blue Monday' madness at Yo Sushi in Leeds and well it would have been rude to not hit the shops whilst I was there wouldn't it? After all there was so much that I needed... ok wanted, so much that I wanted...

My Sorrento Travel Blog Part 4

The main reason that we chose Sorrento for our summer holiday this year was because we had been invited to share a very special couple of days with a few of our friends. As part of the festivities they had planned out for everyone, they had organised Hen & Stag days in and around the town...

My Favourites - August 2015 Edition

I really cannot believe that this is it, the end of August and according to The Met Office, the end of summer! But before we say goodbye to Mr Sunshine for a few (too many) months, it's time to wrap up summer in a slightly different take on my monthly favourites for August...
