My Christmas Party Makeup

If you're anything like me, on the night of the office Christmas Party you will have little time to transform yourself into a dancefloor diva and will need to turn to some of the most reliable products on the market to make sure you hit the mark.

This year I had little over 30 minutes from going makeup free to getting in the car and heading out to my office party. However, knowing this would be the case I gathered the trustiest stalwarts of my makeup arsenal together the night before and here is what I ended up with;

Benefit Porefessional - The primer I can no longer live without, if it can stand the heat & humidity of the Amalfi Coast it can withstand a Christmas Party in deepest, darkest Calderdale.

MAC Pro Longwear Foundation & Concealer in NW20 - The perfect full coverage, long lasting duo that look slightly dewy on the skin without creating an oil slick!

YSL Touche Eclat - After a day in the office, this is the only thing that can make me look even slightly awake.

Benefit Hello Flawless Pressed Powder in Beige - Just a dusting, to set everything in place, keep it light to avoid a caked on look.

Soap & Glory Solar Powder - The holy grail of Winter Bronzers, nobody want's to look as though they've been tangoed.

Maybelline Master Sculpt in Light/ Medium - A wonderful, ashy toned sculpting powder to chisel the cheeks and temples with plus a highlighter perfect for the inner eyes.

The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter - A dusting of champagne sparkle on the cheekbones and brow bones that is perfect for the palest of skin tones.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve -  it's back and perfect for those days where you want to pack a powerful pout!

Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Primer - The only thing that keeps my shadow in place for more than five minutes.

Fleur de Force Eyeshadow Quad in Cosmic Bronze - Combining Taupe Brown, Coconut Cream & Mink Shimmer on the lid and a touch of Cocoa Brown under the eye for a soft, bronzed smokey eye look.

Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper - An ultra black, fine eye liner that is waterproof, fade and run resistant.

Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara - After a quick lift with the curlers apply a coat of this mascara to hold lashes in place all night and create the illusion of them being longer and thicker too.

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Dark Brown - My new found brow babe, the colour is so natural, it's a dream to apply and it hangs around all day. It's love.

Charlotte Tilbury Love Cheat Lip Pencil in Crazy in Love & Matte Revolution Lipstick in Love Liberty - These two create the most seasonally suitable berry lips that hang around all day, and all night.

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray - Spritz the face before and after applying your makeup to lock it in place and come home looking as fresh as the moment you stepped out.

I love this look and I will go back to it time and time again in the run up to Christmas I'm sure. What do you guys think? What are your favourite party season looks? Let me know below and I will catch up with you again tomorrow, until then though x
