It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… You might hear that from me over the next few weeks as I embrace blogmas & the December photo challenge over on Instagram. I suppose This months ‘My Heart Desires’ is almost like a letter to Santa, so here’s hoping the jolly guy with the beard think’s I’ve been good this year!
Thanks to becoming quite addicted to my blog over the past few months I’ve decided that I could do with upgrading my tech a little bit in order to make life easier for myself. The first item I have my eye on is a keyboard for my iPad so that I can blog on the go. This compact wireless keyboard is presented in the same anodised aluminium casing that has become synonymous with Apple over the last few years. The Apple Wireless Keyboard is available direct from Apple for just £59. I’m also on the look out for a new case for my (now slightly outdated it appears) iPad 3rd gen, however, up to now I haven’t seen anything that has taken my fancy unfortunately!
Next up is the Lee Stafford Wave & Nourish styler which is exclusively available from Argos for £24.99. This Argan Oil infused barrel styler claims to be able to create shiny, waves effortlessly. I’m trying to move away from the poker straight hair style a little bit and really want to give this a try as it looks so simple to use.
Staying on the beauty wagon, I love my Naked Basics palette and I’m so excited by the Naked Basics2. The basic palettes are designed to be travel friendly and offer versatility on the go. I can’t wait to get my hands on this little beauty, the shades are cooler than those in the first edition but are just as pigmented – ‘Undone’ will offer a softer line than ‘Crave’, whilst ‘Cover’ & ‘Primal’ will create a wonderful, soft and smoky look when blended. Perfect for party season. At £22 I think this palette is an absolute steal and there’s 15% off this weekend at Feel Unique!
Ghost is my all time favourite scent and I’ve just about run out which really does make me a little sad. It smells really fresh and is perfect for every day wear. I discovered this about 8 years ago now and it is one of the few that I have come back to time and time again. I love the mix of floral & musky tones and it always puts a smile on my face when I walk past the counters and catch a little note of this. I always prefer to get a good size bottle because they offer better value, the 100ml is £44 from Feel Unique but don’t forget about that 15% off you can claim this weekend!
Finally I really need some new trainers for the gym and I have been looking at Nike Free runners for ages now – they’re really eye caching thanks to their use of bold colours and are so flexible it’s unreal. They have been designed to allow your foot to move much more naturally (based upon barefoot running) than other trainers and are lightweight thanks to the lightweight mesh knit. These are £90 on the Nike website but you can get them on the Pro-Direct site for just £72 – bargain!
