So Saturday night just gone was the night I’d spent weeks organising, my boyfriends birthday night out. We were heading into Leeds for dinner & drinks in the Granary Wharf are of the City Centre. Knowing where we were to be dining I wanted an outfit that was practical, comfortable and stylish…
The dress I wore is almost 5 years old now, from ASOS, and I instantly knew this would be perfect for the night thanks to its slim fit, long sleeves & delicate detailing. However, I had no idea what to team it with for the night.
Recently I stumbled across these heels whilst browsing Just Fab, at just £35 I couldn’t resist them (this style ‘Edie’ has now sold out but there is a great selection in their booties section to choose from). They have a sturdy, wedge heel (which means they’re super comfortable), feminine pointed toe and faux suede upper with side zip detailing. Teamed with my dress and a pair of high denier black tights, they were perfect for my night out.
There was one thing missing though, a jacket. Now don’t get me wrong, I am more than happy to head out without one if the whether is guaranteed to hold off! But it’s late November and its the North of England, so I needed a jacket. I have a fab faux fur Lipsy one that I would normally turn to but it just didn’t seem appropriate. Enter Primark, this jacket was just £21 and made my outfit bang on trend with its monochrome check design and open front.
The night was a riveting success and I felt comfortable, what more could I have asked for?
What do you think?
