So Friday 12th December was Save the Children’s now annual Christmas Jumper day and I love any excuse to be festive. If you haven’t already make sure you text ‘Woolly’ 70070 to donate £2 to help make the world a better place for a child in need this Christmas. As well as a good excuse to be festive at work, it gave me the chance to try out a new makeup look perfect for winter…
OUTFIT: My fabulous Reindeer Christmas Jumper was from inthestyle and just £15.99 – I kept it simple and teamed this up with a pair of River Island leggings & my trusty original Uggs.
HAIR: Recently I’ve been trying out a Shampoo & Conditioner duo from Matrix along with a Coconut serum and my hair is looking and feeling really good. After washing & drying I set in place with a spritz of KMS Hair Play Spray Wax.
MAKEUP: I try to keep it simple for work and I’ve been meaning to try out the Rimmel Matte BB Cream (light) for a while now, it’s been sat on my shelf for weeks, I used this along with my Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer (FBI) and Benefit Hello Flawless (beige) to create a base and added some Lord & Berry Bronzer (Sienna) all over for a little winter glow.
I used my Sleek Face Form Palette (light) to slightly contour, followed by Benefit Sugarbomb for a rosy glow on the apples of the cheeks. On the brows I used the HD Brows Foxy Brow palette and also used the carbon from this to line around the eyes for the slightest hint of a smokey eye.
Once again I used my Nars Tonga lip pencil and a clear balm on the lips to give them a slight shimmer.
So there you have, I think I may use this look again a few times over the winter months as it was just so easy to create – what do you think?
