Seriously how is it May already? Cue all the May the Fourth be with you jokes! So whilst the country is going politics crazy this month here’s what I’ll be doing this month other than crossing that ballot paper box this month…
Time to chill … there’s two Bank Holiday weekends this month which means that we get two four day weeks and three day weekends! More than likely I’ll be spending these catching up with friends and having a few G&Ts along the way.
Time to support … this month sees the Super League Magic Weekend hit Newcastle! Whilst Newcastle is more infamous for its love affair with baal (I’m assured by our Geordie English translation guide this is how Football is referred to in areas with an NE postcode), the Rugby Football League want to show to the city just how canny Rugby League is by taking its showpiece weekend North. Howay Leeds!
Time to support (part 2) … the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire takes to the hills and dales this weekend and last year I really got caught up in Grand Depart fever as the iconic Tour de France took to the roads and streets more famous for Last of the Summer Wine and agriculture. I can’t wait to see the likes of Wiggins & Kittel flying by in the peloton!
Time to move it, move it … As the sun becomes a more regular feature in our skies and we start to feel a little more summery, our thoughts of course turn towards beaches and of course the beach body! So this month I will be keeping up with my new exercise regime, my healthy eating and generally just being that little bit more active. Bring on the bikinis!
Time to cleanse … no not my skin, or my mind, but my wardrobe! I’ve lived in this house for two and a half years now and there are clothes in my wardrobe that I know full well have not been worn in that time. So this month I’m going to strip back my wardrobe and de-clutter. I may list some items on here or on Depop so watch out!
