As another month slowly (who am I kidding, this month has gone past at the speed of the Bullet Train) draws to a close it’s time to pick out my favourite products of the month from the worlds of beauty, fashion, fitness and lifestyle and as always this month has had no shortage of contenders…
First up is this little beauty that I only acquired last week but that has already rocketed to the top of my favourites list for this month. You may remember from my recent Threads, Treads & Treats post that I have added a gorgeous Scentsy Warmer to my living room so that when we have viewings on the house, people are always greeted with a really nice, fresh scent. This is one of the melts that Scentsy sell to compliment their burners and it is absolutely divine, combining the delicious scents of Jasmine, Amber and my favourite Dark Chocolate. Heaven!
Next is another house purchase, my Deliciously Ella cookbook. This has taught me so much about food it is unreal and whilst I don’t follow the recipes to letter (because I could never be Vegan, I am a definite meat eater) I have taken a lot of inspiration for my new clean eating diet from the book. I have finally learned how to use ingredients I would never have dared before and started to be a lot more adventurous when it comes to eating in. Overnight oats is by far my favourite breakfast and the Sweet Potato salad (which I think is on the Deliciously Ella iPhone app) make a brilliant lunch.
Now although food might seem like a strange favourite to put in, I’m going to go with it. I have been a fan of Metcalfe’s Skinny Topcorn for a few years now and this month I discovered a new flavour; Honey Bee. Seriously where has honey popcorn been all my life? Admittedly I am not a big popcorn fan and I would never buy it in the cinema knowing it is covered in salt or drowned in syrup. But this is different, it’s tasty, it’s wholesome and I think it is 117 calories per serving which is pretty awesome when you have those post meal out and didn’t order dessert style munchies!
Ah my Primark sunnies – I have had lots of comments on these and not one person will believe me that these little darlings are from Primark. They remind me of the Clubmaster shades by Rayban but at £2 I won’t be as devastated if I break these!
Finally Barry M’s Matte Me Up Lip Crayon in shade two has not been far from my side all month, I love this popping pastel pink shade and it looks grey with that just coming out of winter glow that my skin has!
So there you have it – another month of favourites. Let me know your favourites from June below and I’ll see you again soon, until then though x
