Well hello February, than you for joining us! Hopefully this month, as the days get longer, we will start to see the sun a little more and be able to start thinking more about our Spring wardrobes than our Winter ones (fingers crossed anyway). With that in mind here’s a very fashion focused ‘My Heart Desires’…
…I’ve got quite into my fashion again recently, I think it’s mainly down to the the likes of Anna & Victoria’s recent haul videos and I’ve bought a few new bits over the past few weeks that are very different for me but that I feel really suit where I am in my life at the moment.
Some of the below items will not surprise you at all, some might and there might even be one item I’ve already purchased (watch my Instagram over the next few days to see which).
New Kicks | Adidas Originals Bird Print ZX Flux Trainers, £50, ASOS | This year I want to stop living in Toms & Uggs as much as generally do and so I have been on the hunt for a nice pair of casual trainers for the last few months. I’ve spotted these on ASOS recently and I am totally in love with the print, design and overall look. This people, could be love!
Water Baby | Ikat Elastic Trim Plunge Swimsuit, £28, ASOS | Since I left school, I have never even entertained the idea of wearing a one piece swimsuit. i mean let’s face it, they’re not great for sunbathing in (hello tan lines) and they’re a little impractical. However, this black one from ASOS has caught my eye thanks to its plunging neckline and Ikat print elastic trim. Although I wouldn’t wear it to the beach or around the pool abroad, it would look lovely with a pair of high waist shorts whilst sight seeing!
Balcony Beauty | Tropical Lace Halter Bra, £16, VS Pink | Throwing back to my birthday a few years ago now, I picked up a racer back bra from La Senza. Hands down, it was the most comfortable bra I have ever owned and I think you can thank the lack of straps for that. I’ve been looking for a new one for a while now and these lace numbers in Pink are so unbelievably soft it’s unreal.
Sports Luxe | Puma Oversized Crew Neck Sweatshirt, £32, ASOS | I’m sure you will have seen other Bloggers and Vloggers featuring this either in recent haul videos or in wishlists recently as it is so blog worthy. I love Puma sportswear anyway, it’s always good quality, functional and my Sixth Form years were basically spent in Mostro trainers. I love the colour and style of this sweatshirt and think it would look just as good on a relaxed afternoon with friends as it would in the gym.
Retro Heaven | Ellesse Leggings, £20, ASOS | Ellesse are one of those labels that I remember seeing a lot of back in the 90s but that seem to be going through a bit of a reemergence at the minute and naturally their logo just looks retro. Generally I go for black leggings in the gym, they just look a little more slimming, but these Navy ones could work just as well and the logo detail on the leg just makes them look that little bit less ‘boring’ than your standard ones.
And that people is February’s lusting.
Which do you think I have already added to my wardrobe this month? And which do you think I’m planning on adding next?
What is your heart desiring this month? Let me know below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
