As another month draws to a close it’s time to take a look back at what I’ve been wearing, where I’ve been and what I’ve been treating myself to over the last few weeks. Yes you’ve guessed it, it’s time for this month’s Threads, Treads & Treats…
…In a month that has seen me out and about in my hometown almost once a week, it’s been a hard one to pick out the highlights from but I think these sum up my month perfectly;
Threads | I spotted this striped, grandad collar shirt in Primark in January and instantly fell for it. It’s such a different style for me but I wanted to try and update my wardrobe with more ‘grown up’ style purchases. It looks great dressed down with jeans & toms on a weekend and was a steal at just £10.
Treads | Paul & I were invited along by those lovely people at The Botanist in Leeds to attend their Gin Tasting World Record attempt. It was a great evening (not least because there was free Gin), I really learnt a lot about Gin, it’s origins and elements and we are now officially Record Breakers! If you want some Gin tips, order a Caorunn & Fever Tree next time you’re out and unless it arrives served with a slice of apple, send it back!
Treats | Do you remember these beauties from this month’s ‘My Heart Desires‘? I told you I had already purchased something from the list didn’t I? I think I may have purchased the last pair on ASOS so I must apologise if anyone else wanted to pick up a pair, I couldn’t resist, they’re too pretty!
And that’s it for another month, what have you been up to this month?
Make sure you join me tomorrow night for ’24 Hours in the City – Leeds Edition’ and then on Thursday for February’s ‘Fitness Diary’ installment! Until then though x
