Joe Browns is a brand that I have known for years, yet I’ve never really looked at them or what they have to offer in any great detail. I’ve never really thought that what they had to offer was really for me and was more the free spirited individuals out there.
Oh how wrong I was.
Hidden away in the old industrial village of Holbeck in South Leeds, Joe Browns boasts an impressive HQ to house all of their wonderful creations and creatives.
Unbelievably Joe Browns was launch back in the early 2000’s and back then you were probably more likely to find them tucked away inside your catalogue than on the High Street. How times change.
You can now find their Womenswear inside Debenhams as well as online and in several mail order catalogues too and this Autumn/ Winter their latest collection is bound to draw attention from a wider, trend led audience thanks to it eclectic style, sumptuous fabrics and oh so attractive patterns.
I was lucky enough to be invited by their team to go and have a nosy around their office, meet a few of their team and see exactly what we have to look forward to this Fall.
The Joe Browns office is just as eclectic as their collections with gifts from suppliers adorning the walls from all corners of the globe alongside their ethos and branding. There is even an amazing breakout area in the centre of the office that combines all of my favourite features from Friends; big comfy sofas and foosball.
On the night we were looked after by Emily, their PR & Social Media Manager, who was lovely enough to not only show us around and tell us about the brand, but also made sure we had a nice chilled glass of Prosecco in our hands too. In a strange turn of events it turned out that both Emily and myself had worked for the same company in our previous work lives and it was fun to chat about how things seemingly hadn’t changed since I had left many moons ago!
I cannot wait for the range to be available as there were some seriously cute tweed jackets that will look great in the office this winter and some unbelievably attractive coords too.
You can check out the latest Joe Browns Lookbook here (which was shot at the picturesque Goathland Railway Station aka Hogsmead) and watch a little sneaky behind the scenes video below too! Plus keep your eyes peeled on my Twitter & Instagram feeds as I have a little giveaway coming your way too.
