My Christmas Party Look

So I thought that my teams Christmas night out would be the perfect opportunity for me to do my first ‘look’ post, I hope you all like it. We were heading into Halifax for Cocktails & Tapas so I thought I’d take advantage of the opportunity to use my favourite products.

I only had about an hour to transform myself and I was suffering with a heavy cold that would also need describing. After removing my make up with the aid of one of my favourite Simple wipes I applied a layer of Hydraluron, followed by Nip+Fab Moisture Fix and Benefit’s It’s Potent Eye Cream. I find that combined these three products create a fantastic base for my makeup and brighten my skin in the harsh winter months.

Thanks to the heavy cold, I needed to use several products to get a flawless finish. For this I used the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Ivory which I love because it feels so light, the MUA Conceal & Brighten kit in Porcelain Beige around the eyes and finished off with a light dusting of Benefit’s Hello Flawless powder in Beige. I know that that might sound quite heavy to some but it really works for me & I know I can rely on my makeup all night.

As it’s winter, and I’m returning to my natural milky white complexion, I used Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer all over for a bit of warmth and then my favourite Sleek Face Form Palette to create definition and light as well as a bit of flush to the cheeks.

I’m totally in love with my HD Brows Foxy Brow kit at the moment and used the wax and dark brown powder to define my brows and then the Naked Basics palette on my eyes, finished off with a bit of Lancome Hypnose mascara.

Finally I used Nars Tonga Lipliner all over the lips and a clear balm to create a nearly nude lip, working slightly outside the lip line to create a fuller look.

I really liked this look and I hope you do too, what’s your favourite look so far this Christmas? Comment below.
