My Holiday Fashion Post

I love summer fashion, believe it or not there is nothing that I love more than putting on a nice, pretty dress, a pair of nice shoes and going out for a meal and a few drinks feeling like a million dollars. Here are a just a few of the dresses that I took away with me this year…

First up is this super comfortable swing dress from Boohoo, and the best part about it? It’s £8! This dress is perfect for casual days by the beach, evening drinks or for a night out on the town. This bright coral colour looks perfect with a holiday glow too and goes so beautifully with so many different accessories.

A late addition to the summer wardrobe, and one that I think I will be able to carry on wearing through autumn & winter too, is this sleeveless navy Tipi Dress. I really like the crepe material, embroidery and subtle embellishment and I think during autumn with tights and boots this dress will look just as incredible as in summer. This style is now out of stock but you can pick this similar version up from Superdry at the moment for £54.99.

My 50’s style dress from Superdry has to be one of my purchases of the summer. I am not usually a strapless dress kind of girl, I just don’t feel very supported in them and I’m always worried that I might pop out or that they will be unflattering. But not in this one. This one just seems to cling where I need it to and keep everything perfectly in place. Unless someone throws a mid-Winter Hawaiian I think this one may have to go in the wardrobe until next summer, but Superdry do have Plaid versions in stock for this Autumn/ Winter season for £54.99.

Another Superdry dress that I have been in love with this summer is this super feminine, floral Happy Chelsea dress. I actually love everything about the fit and style of this dress and it is perfect for so many occasions including afternoon tea of course.

Of course one of the staples of any wardrobe is a LBD and mine is no different, I wear this one all year round as it goes just as brilliantly with thick, wooly tights as it does with a tan and heels. Because I suffer a bit with stomach issues, floaty dresses always allow me to feel my most confident. This one of mine is a few years old now but I love this A-Line LBD from Missguided too!

Finally, the star of the show for me this summer and another that I think I will be able to get winter wear out of too if the occasion arrises is my ‘Eden’ dress from Blonde & Wise. This was one off design but make sure to check out their website to see what they have at the moment, all of their dresses are handmade and fabulous!

So that’s a little taster of my summer wardrobe, I’ll be sure to show you some winder styling ideas in a few months time too once I’ve had chance to get some seasonal pictures done! I’d love to know what styles you guys have been liking and wearing this summer too so let me know below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
