My July

I don’t know about you guys but I’m still waiting on the grey skies to lift and for Summer to arrive in earnest but as we move into July there’s a lot to look forward to.

At the start of June I mentioned that my diary was unusually quiet but it definitely didn’t stay that way and I ended up meeting some of the most wonderful bloggers and PR’s at events in Leeds and Manchester. This month my diary is back to being fairly quiet with just a couple of events in there…

STAYING LOCAL | Last night I attended the opening of the amazing Ushiwear at Trinity Leeds and it’s safe to say I didn’t walk away empty handed and will be doing an activewear post for you all (if it ever stops raining that is) soon! Ushiwear are a local company that pride themselves on being ‘Brilliantly British’ and you can find their pop-up store at Trinity (next to Caffe Nero) until July 7th.

GOING NATIONAL | This month I am attending my first ever London event (watch out London I’m coming) and heading to the #BigBloggerExpo. I’m really excited to head to the capital, meet some fantastic brands and some of my favourite bloggers, let me know if you’re heading down for this one as it would be great to see you.

GETTING FIT(TER) | Whenever I say that I want to get fit people’s reactions tend to be along the lines of ‘you already are’, which is fair enough. But I don’t want to just be fit, I want to be the fittest I can be and that’s why this month I will be working hard in the gym (thank god for a quiet month) and making sure my meals are spot on in terms of macros.

BEING SOCIAL | Last month I feel as though I neglected certain parts of this blogging lark a little bit, mainly the networking side and the nightly chats and that’s possibly because my focus shifted to nailing my carb cycle and meal prepping. This month I want to get talking to you guys more again and combine my love of healthy living with my love of creating great content.

LIVE LIFE | There’s so many hidden gems in West Yorkshire and I want to find them! I’m a big fan of eating out (I’m intending on making the most of my Saturday night ‘cheat meals’) and lately I’ve tried a few new places out as well as a couple of old favourites. Eating out is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and live life a little more rather than just existing in it.

So that in a nutshell is July, what have you guys got in your diaries? Inspire me! Let me know your plans below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
