My New Kicks & Skins

Hallelujah I hear you all cry! I know I have been going on about needing new trainers for months but finally I have taken the plunge and invested in some new footwear. Despite quite possibly spending more time in my gym kit than most items in my wardrobe I always feel a little loathed to splurge.

Under Armour is a brand that I have often seen and on the whole ignored for the past few years. Not particular reason, I was just drawn in by the big brand displays in the local DW Sports store and seemingly Under Armour clothing was hidden away a little bit.

But Paul recently picked up one of their t-shirts and it is so soft I really want to steal it, but I don’t think I could get away with it! But I guess this gave me the kick to check out their women’s wear.

The printed high compression ‘Fly By’ Capri pants were £35 and it was an instant love moment when I saw them. I much prefer dark coloured gym bottoms to lighter ones as they hide a multitude of sins! The secret of these beauties is the compression design which helps to increase muscle power through lowering the vibrations and offering more support.  They fit beautifully, feel extremely comfortable and look awesome.

After much deliberation I picked up the Assert IV Running shoes – I try to do a fair bit of running so these seemed perfect for me and after I tried them on I knew they had to come home with me. They are really lightweight and thanks to the mesh panels, your feet will stay nice an cool when you’re hitting the bar or pounding the streets. They were also an absolute bargain at £40!

No more blisters for me! Have you got any Under Armour sportswear? Let me know below and I’ll catch you again soon, until then though x
