My Newcastle Haul Part 1

So as you know a fortnight ago I spent a few days in Newcastle, that inevitably involved a bit of retail therapy to see what the shopping was like there. Now I didn’t go crazy but I thought I would split the haul down into separate posts for you, first up was Schuh.

Now unfortunately first of all I forgot that you need to go a size up in Toms so I’ve already had to exchange these as, although the 4’s fit, they were a little too tight.

Toms are my favourite weekend footwear, they’re super comfortable, stylish and last forever. I have had a pair of grey ones for years now and they’re still s comfortable as the day I bought them and I was drawn to these taupe ones as they will be prefect for summer, shouldn’t get dirty too quickly and will go with so many outfits.

Why Toms? Seriously these are the only pumps that don’t hurt my feet, even Converse hurt me after a while and I can wear these all day long. I really like the ‘wrap’ detailing on the toes and all of the little stitching details that go into making a pair as well, the design and idea is so simple but so effective.

More often than not I team mine up with wither a pair of shorts or a pair of jeans and thanks to the neutral colour they will go with most outfits and they don’t look out of place if you wear them to the pub, out shopping or to a festival. They’re also really easy to clean up too and although I’m sure they probably tell you not to, I have thrown my others in the washing machine a few times and they have been fine.

So that’s part one of My Newcastle Haul, these Toms were from Schuh at Intu Eldon Square and were £35 – worth every penny as I know I will still be loving these in a few years time!

Let me know what you’ve been hauling below and I’ll see you again soon, until then though x
