I’ve wanted to try the Real Techniques brushes out for a while but couldn’t justify them because I have a good set of brushes already, but when I finally decided my foundation brush had seen better days I knew exactly who to turn to…
My old brush had began to shed bristles all over my face every time I used it, it was a nightmare. We’ve all heard good things about the Real Techniques brushes and it’s no wonder if they’re all as good as these two. These were £8.99 & £10.99 & you can find them in Asda, Boots etc as well online.
I think what makes these brushes so good is that they have been created by two women who have lived and breathed makeup for as long as they can remember. They know what works, what doesn’t and why.
Firstly the Foundation brush – the cut of this brush head makes applying a flawless base a breeze and you get such an unbelievably even finish it really is amazing. The synthetic bristles are super soft and you don’t get any shedding. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I really can’t fault it.
Stippling brushes are great all rounders and I mainly use mine to create a picture perfect finish after contouring. Again the bristles are super soft allowing you to rally work the makeup you have applied to make it seamless.
I can’t wait to get my hands on more of these, they work brilliantly, are lightweight & comfortable to use and I love that they don’t have separate handles and heads like my old ones!
