My Real Techniques Mini Haul

So just before Christmas I decided that enought was enough. My blusher brush just had to be replaced as the head kept falling off and I decided to head into Superdrug as I really wanted the Real Techniques one. As it was 3-for-2 I ended up with more that I expected!

First of all the Blusher Brush. I love the girly design of the Real Techniques collection and that they’re an all in one unit as opposed to seperate heads and handles as I think this makes them more durable. One thing I really like about this brush is the large head as it gives a much more flawless and even coverage than thr traditional small blusher ones like I had previously. This was the most expensive of my little haul at £9.99 but worth every penny!

Next on my list was the Retractable Lip Liner Brush. Now I must confess I have never used a lip brush before and just applied lip products directly, however, when I recently tried out a few shades at the Nars counter in Leeds I noticed how much easier and precise it was with a brush. This one is just £6.99 and it is really firm allowing you to get right to the edge of the lips and create a clean, crisp outline. Also as it comes with a lip it is perfect to pop in your bag with your lippie incase of emergency touch ups on the go.

As it was 3-for-2 I then had to choose another to add to my collection. Unfortunately they seemed to be a little low on stock in my local store and the only one that I hadn’t already got was the the little purple Shading Brush again £6.99. This has a small, velvety soft domed head and I’ve been using this over Christmas and found that it gives amazingly smooth coverage in one sweep. I love it.

I have been really surprised with how good these brushes are and they’re really affordable and accessible too, you can even get them in Asda with your weekly shop! For anyone in the market for new brushes I would definitely recommend these as they are so much better than the more salon style ones I had previously.

Any recommendations on which I need next?
