Out with the Old

Remember, remember the 5th of November and not just for gunpowder, treason and plot this year. A few weeks ago The Body Shop in Leeds closed it’s doors for one last time as we had come to know and love it and embarked on a major revamp.

Today is the day that the people of Leeds (and the UK for that matter) will get to see the new look concept store for the very first time as the wonderful Em Sheldon cuts the ribbon and helps the Leeds team unveil the store.

I was lucky enough to be invited along to Lamberts Yard in Leeds a couple of weeks ago to meet their team of Skincare Experts, Makeup Artists and generally amazing ladies that will be taking care of people in the new store on Briggate (near Harvey Nichols), to take a closer look at (and try out) their gorgeous products and take a sneak peak at what people can expect at today’s unveiling.

So what can you expect from the new store? You can expect it to be lighter and brighter than ever before, with lots of greenery, wood and perfect blogging spaces. You can expect to see a devoted Body Butter section (#heaven) as well as skincare and makeup consultation areas. But most excitingly of all you can expect to see a VIP Room perfect for those special occasions when you want to hang out with your favourite ones and find out your perfect ‘Body Shop’ formula.

In addition to their new look store you can expect to see their new range of Christmas Gifts, Advent Calendars (mine is hidden away until December 1st *sob*), personalised Body Butters (Leeds will be one of a handful of locations offering this) and lots of #Jungleballs… If you haven’t seen their Christmas campaign you need to click here, it will make your day I promise!

So this year make sure you remember, remember the 5th of November as the day that the day that The Body Shop returned to Leeds, its come a long way in the 40 years since the first store opened it’s doors in Brighton!

Let me know below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
