‘Tis the season to be jolly and after the last few days I am certainly that! I fully appreciate that there is more to Christmas than the gifts that we receive, however, as I sit here full up on Turkey & Prosecco I thought I would take a few minutes to talk you through ‘The Present Haul’…
Let’s start at the top and go through what my leading man bought for me this year. I knew about my beautiful RayBan sunglasses as they had already found their way all the way from New York to Paul’s wardrobe and I had had my eyes on these since the Summer after mine became a little battered and scratched after a run in with my mum’s puppy! I also had a strong feeling that their would also be a Minion DVD under the tree but I was not expecting an amazing FitBit Charge HR, Jamie Oliver’s ‘Everyday Super Food’ cookbook, Thornton’s Chocolates and Hugo Boss perfume as well!!! It’s a tragic cliche but the boy really did do good!
Two items not in the above are the gorgeous, and ever so slightly retro, Pyramid Kettle & Toaster from the Morphy Richards Accent collection. My mum very kindly bought these for us for Christmas as the ones we had didn’t really match the kitchen and were very much bought with our first house in mind and these match our decor perfectly! My wonderful Auntie & Uncle also went down the homeware routh with a fabulous Joseph & Joseph chopping board which will come in very useful with my newfound skills in the kitchen!
I received a wonderful Benefit Your B.right to Party set from my nearly Uncle (and perfectly chosen by my nearly cousin Vicky) which I cannot wait to start using and the most amazing ‘Light of the Party’ Tarte Palette, alongside a Bite Discovery kit and gorgeous festive Westie cushion from my second mother and the awesome Urban Decay Smoky Palette, Radley Socks, brilliant porridge cup and cute Westie (notice a theme yet guys) Slipper Socks from Grammie. but the presents didn’t stop there – Grammie also got Paul & I a cinema voucher to share (Hunger Games we’re coming for you at last), we received the full Harry Potter Boxset and I also received an iTunes voucher (what should I buy?!).
Finally I treated myself to a new vest for the gym, as you may know I am a big Rugby League fan and I’ve wanted one of the new training vests for a while now so I can rep my boys in the gym!
Sitting here and looking at everything I feel very, very lucky indeed and I can’t wait to go through things for you in further detail! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to go through for you guys first and I will catch up with you again tomorrow, until then though x
Thanks for stopping by, don’t forget to join me on Facebook, Twitter or Bloglovin’ to stay up-to date.
