As another month draws to a close, I thought it was about time that I revived one of my favourite monthly features; my monthly roundup of what I’ve been wearing, where I’ve visited and what I’ve been treating myself to.
April has been jam-packed full of brunch dates, bank holidays and of course plenty of Easter Eggs too and all of these plans and adventures have started to get me in the mood for the warmer, longer days that lie ahead of us.
THREADS This month I have been absolutely loving Topshop and in particular this Polka Dot Bed Blouse that I first spotted on the wonderful Em Sheldon when we headed for our little Ladies Night at Zizzi in Leeds. It can be super hard to get your hands on so I snapped it up as soon as I saw it and at just £34 I think it is a little bit of a bargain too!
TREADS I am such a petrol head at times it is untrue. I love nothing more than settling down on a Sunday afternoon to watch the latest F1 race, I’ve travelled to Le Mans twice to watch the iconic 24-hour race there and so when the opportunity arose to spend Easter Sunday watching fast cars, eating leftover M&Ms and exploring Silverstone with Paul I jumped at the chance. The FIA World Endurance Championship is one of the most exciting series in my eyes and I loved every minute of it.
TREATS Brunch, lots and lots of Brunch! As you will have seen I took Paul along to the new Manahatta on Greek Street before we head off to Silverstone at Easter and then I also too myself off to the fantastic Angelica, situated in Leeds’ Trinity shopping centre, last weekend. I think it is safe to say that if there’s Poached Eggs & Toast, I’m there!
I can’t wait to do more brunching, exploring & shopping (sorry Mr Bankman) in May and with time in Newcastle, a Half Marathon and two Bank Holiday weekends, I’m pretty certain I’ll be doing plenty of all of them!
But what have you been loving this month? Would you like to see a monthly favourites video from me again alongside my little Threads, Treads & Treats roundup?
Let me know below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
