As you may be able to guess from this post being a few days late, the end of July really did sneak up on me like a ninja! July started with long, sunny days in Rhodes that were filled with Pina Coladas, Gyros and not a great deal else and ended with even longer days in the office!
Not that I am complaining I must add, I love life right now and my work is a big part of that. For years I have known that what I was doing wasn’t my ‘calling’ in life and I finally feel as though I have found something that I not only enjoy, but that I am also (hopefully) quite good at.
But as I mentioned this month hasn’t been all work and no play, far from it in fact…
THREADS … This month I have been loving getting my legs out and showing off my tan! Usually I hide my legs away because when they’re pale I really don’t feel confident enough to have them on show much and I do not get on with fake tan (in fact there is no part of fake tan that I like).
I picked up this Missguided at ASOS Playsuit (similar here) back in April and didn’t pluck up the courage to wear it until we headed to Rhodes. Now I’ve worn it three times in the last month and I can’t tell you how comfortable I feel in it!
TREADS … I guess this months treads location has to be Rhodes doesn’t it? Last week I shared my ‘5 Things to Do or See in Rhodes‘ post and I could have made way more than 5 suggestions that’s for sure. Rhodes is filled with so many glorious sights, sounds and some amazing flavours including Mastiha a strong liqueur similar to Ouzo & Raki that is traditionally served as a digestif and that I found is often gifted to visitors at the end of meals on the island.
I’m not a ‘shot’ kinda girl but I did quite like this one!
TREATS … Aside from the holiday and a few new holiday pieces and purchases (I’ve got a Summer Beauty Haul coming your way soon), this month I was treated to an evening of Cocktails at Cielo Blanco in honour of their #CieloSocialSummers campaign with the wonderful Luke aka Mr Luke Christian.
Tequila on a Thursday night always sounds good right?
Cielo Blanco is one of my favourite spots in Leeds having been a few times now, but I think I can head there at least one more time soon as I am still to introduce Paul to their menu!
And in a nutshell that sums up July, I do hope you have enjoyed following my adventures both on here and over on the old ‘gram too? Is there anything you would like to see more of from me?
Don’t forget to let me know what you have been up to this last month below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
