Total Wellbean*

Hands up – who cannot get through the morning (let alone the day) without a good, strong coffee? I know I can’t! Without coffee my emails make no sense, I’m unproductive and worst of all I’m a total grinch!

It’s never too early in the year for a Christmas film reference!

Anyway, I digress. For me my morning routine goes a little something like this; alarm goes off, press snooze, alarm goes off, press snooze, alarm goes off, roll out of bed, turn the house alarm off (if I remember, man does that thing wake me up when I forget though) and head down to make a coffee.

My day always starts most days with a coffee, unless I’m feeling like a real fancy pants and make a cup of tea instead!

For the last few years my coffee of choice at home has bean (get it) Beanies Cinder Toffee Coffee, I’ve always bean (I’ll stop soon I promise) a black coffee drinker thanks to my Lactose intolerance and used to opt for a strong black with all the sugar. However, the flavoured Beanies Coffee’s mean that I don’t need to add any sugar at all which is, of course, so much better for me.

But now Beanies have gone and made their coffee even better for me … it comes with added sunshine!

Say what?

You heard me, Beanies have added your daily dose of sunshine to every cup of their ‘plus‘ range of coffees. How good is that?!

I’ll quickly give you the lowdown on Beanies – their coffees not only taste amazing (I’m talking Cinder Toffee, Pumpkin Spice and Creamy Caramel), they’re sugar & sweetener free AND they’re only two calories a cup.

As I mentioned they have now added you daily dose of sunshine (or vitamin D to you and me) to every cup meaning that my morning coffee now helps support my immune system through the cold, darker months, prevent muscle weakness and help to protect against several bone diseases.

Was there ever a better reason to drink coffee in a morning?

Once I’ve made my morning brew, I tender wander back upstairs and start my day by cleansing my skin, applying my warpaint makeup and taming the fro’. Before long Dominic Byrne is reading the eight o’clock news and that’s my cue to grab my pre-prepared (because lets face it I can’t prepare anything other than myself in a morning) food for the day and hit the road.

The moment I walk out of the door my morning routine is over, day-to-day life takes over and who knows where it will take me. But one things for sure, there’s always a jar of beanies in my handbag … for emergencies of course.

How do you start your days?
Let me know below and I’ll catch up with you again soon, until then though x
